Shell continues to pollute the North Sea
It seems absurd, but the oil company Shell, continues to pollute without anyone to take appropriate action. After the pollution of the Niger Delta oil company is continuing to pollute half the world regardless of the damage, just a month ago in Alaska had an accident involving the kulluk platform and now it's incredibly ennessimo the environmental disaster. According to an investigation by the Department of Energy and Climate Change in the last 10 months has resulted in well-Shell 430 oil spills in the North Sea. All this because of the violent drilling activities that Shell has intensified in this period, needless to say that these criminal activities are exterminating the marine ecosystem already weakened intesiva practiced their fishing in the North Sea. Shell respond to these accusations claiming that precautions be taken to avoid damage, in fact, the Anglo-Dutch oil company, it would try to use less invasive methods for boring. However, the problem remains as governments with state subsidies entice companies like Shell to increase the oil business, but had not started the green revolution? According to the WWF to cut all oil companies subsidies would be the only way to stop these dangerous criminal activities, also with the same gesture will encourage the development of more sustainable energy policies. In short, the bad example from above, the government once again proved'' not interested'' in this worrying environmental problem.
